Synopsis:Set in Sweden the summer of 1900, the lives of several romantic couples turn into a swirling web of affairs that seem to revolve around actress Desirée Armfeldt.  Jealousy, passion, and suspicion of each other's fidelity - or lack thereof - ignites the tension between the complex cast of characters as they waltz through Sondheim?s magnificent score.

 The tension only grows when they all congregate for a weekend in the country at Desirée's mother's estate. Though the summer sun refuses to set, the moon will smile down on this musical masterpiece of new romances and second chances.
