Local author Joseph K. DeRosa will present his new book, Vera's Story: Escape to Freedom on Aug 27 at 7:00 pm .  Vera’s Story is based on the true story of a Czech family caught up in the storm of history from the aftermath of WWI to the fall of the Berlin Wall. A story of courage, hope, and perseverance. About people, not politics. A human story. Vera’s story.  Chatham author Joseph K. DeRosa came to his first Eldredge Library Writing Group over 20 years ago, and currently runs our Summer Fiction Writers Group.
