A Summer Garden Celebration!
 
For the seventh year, gardeners across Cape Cod will ring in the summer season with the Seventh Annual Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival, happening July 9-18, 2021. Not just a celebration for the region’s signature bloom, the genus hydrangea, this event encompasses plants of all kinds.
 
The main attraction across the 10-day festival are tours of local gardens, usually kept off-limits and only maintained by individual homeowners throughout the year. Tours of these unique private spaces are $5 per person per garden, and every garden is paired with a benefiting nonprofit organization which receives 100% of the proceeds.

Gardens are only one part of the festival. Enjoy workshops and lectures presented by leading international horticulturalists, discover promotions at participating nurseries and home centers, take a class to learn proper hydrangea pruning techniques, or even watch a painting demonstration by renowned local artists.
