Chatham Lighthouse Tours - 2022
DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, LIGHTHOUSE TOUR CANCELLED FOR OCTOBER 5, 2022
Located on the grounds of Coast Guard Station Chatham, Chatham Light has a long and rich history.
The Chatham Flotilla of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will once again offer ground tours of the iconic Chatham Lighthouse this summer.
Tours of the lighthouse grounds have been suspended since 2019 due to COVID-19 safety protocols and lighthouse maintenance issues.
Auxiliarists will present the history and workings of the lighthouse tower and the decommissioned Coast Guard Motor Lifeboat 44501 that is on display at the Chatham Coast Guard Station. The lighthouse tower remains closed due to maintenance issues.
