Hearthwarming at the Atwood

Come join us as we celebrate the holiday season!

On Saturday, December 10 from 10am-4pm the museum will be open with free admission. Stop by during Chatham’s Christmas by the Sea Stoll Weekend. The hearth of the old house will be ablaze with yuletide cheer. The house will be merrily bright and beautifully decorated to invite you to step back in time. Light refreshments and warm beverages will be served in the spirit of an old-fashioned wassail. Please dress warmly and bring good cheer.

Besides the decorated Old House, we will also have several galleries open and our Gift Shop will being having its Annual Historic Hauls sale. Unique Chatham books and curiosities make special holiday gifts. We will be collecting new hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for children in need, and non-perishables and canned goods will be collected for Cape Cod Family Pantry.

After December 10th the museum will reopen in May 2023.
