Chatham Marconi Welcomes Mr. Carl Herzog, PhD to its Speaker Series
From her launch in 1797 to her ongoing service as the Navy's oldest commissioned warship, USS Constitution has not only survived the long centuries, but continually contributed to the nation in ways far beyond its original mission. Though renowned for its victories over the Royal Navy in the War of 1812, Constitution’s voyages and missions spanned the globe throughout the 19th century representing diverse U.S. interests in the farthest ports before radio communication. Discover the stories behind some of the ship's most dramatic adventures and the captivating crews who led to her success.
