Tuesday Talks: Cranberries: New England’s Bounty with Anthony Sammarco

Join us as we welcome historian and author Anthony Sammarco to talk about cranberries and how this versatile fruit was used for food, dye, and medicine.  Learn how the European settlers came to rely on them for nutrients and bartering with their Native American neighbors who introduced them to the wild fruit.

This lecture will take place on-site in the Mural Barn at the Atwood Museum.
