Chatham Music Club Announces 2025 Scholarship Competition

The Chatham Music Club Scholarship Competition will be held May 3, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chatham Congregational Church, 650 Main Street, Chatham, at the rotary. Serious music students, recommended by their teachers, and ages 14 and over, who live on Cape Cod or study with a Cape Cod teacher, are invited to enter the Chatham Music Club's Classical Music Scholarship Competition.  Students must present two classical compositions of contrasting style (e.g. Baroque, Romantic, Contemporary, etc.) An accompanist will be provided, if needed. Applications are due by Friday, April 11, 2025. An audition time will be issued to applicants prior to the competition.  First, second, and third place winners will be invited to perform at the Gala Concert on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Christopher's Church, 625 Main Street, Chatham. Over $56,450 in scholarships have been awarded to date.
