Community Benefits Survey Seeks Feedback to Determine Cape’s Greatest Health Needs

(Hyannis, May 5, 2025) Cape Cod Healthcare is conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to better understand the health and well-being of people living in Barnstable County. As part of this project, a Community Health Survey is available for all residents. The goal of the survey is to learn how well current healthcare needs are being met and to identify opportunities for improvement. The feedback collected will help evaluate which programs or services may be needed in the future. This input is essential as Cape Cod Healthcare prepares the three-year Community Health Needs Assessment for 2026–2028.

The Community Health Survey is anonymous and doesn’t require a participant’s name or address. This survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. This survey is open through June 12, 2025, and is available in four languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish and Haitian Creole.

For questions or to obtain a paper copy of the survey, please email communitybenefits@capecodhealth.org or call 508-862-5600.

Cape Cod Healthcare has engaged Market Street Research, a Northampton, Massachusetts-based public health research firm, to administer and analyze data collected through this survey.
