For Immediate Release (September 3, 2025) – September marks the unofficial start of locals’ summer
on Cape Cod—the moment when crowds thin, the pace slows, and year-round residents reconnect
with one another.
Love Live Local, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening Cape Cod’s small-business
economy, is inviting locals to put their money where their heart is with the new Love Local Card.
The $25 card unlocks exclusive perks and discounts at more than 100 locally owned businesses,
including Truro Vineyards, Snowy Owl Coffee, Wish Gift Co., Cape Abilities Farm, and Scenic
Roots—plus many more in between. Cardholders can simply look for the “Honored Here” decal in shop
windows and at checkout counters.
Since launching in late June, more than 200 cards have already been sold, showing strong interest
from both summer visitors and year-round residents. Proceeds support Love Live Local’s grants and
educational programs that directly assist Cape Cod small businesses.
“This is about locals supporting locals,” said Jen Villa, Executive Director and co-founder of Love Live
Local. “Our small businesses have weathered an intense summer season, and now is the time for Cape
Codders to step up, invest in each other, and strengthen the community we all love.”
